Miley's song has been a massive success. It recorded 100-million streams on Spotify in its first week of release.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker dedicated the track to her fans and "the steadfast self-love" she wishes for each of them.

The 'Flowers' lyrics have been described as inspiring and powerful by women all over the world. Miley sings on the single:

I can by myself flowers
Write my name in the sand
Talk to myself for hours
Say things you don't understand
I can take myself dancing
And I can hold my own hand
Yeah, I can love me better than you can

Fans have speculated that the song is about her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, as it was released on his birthday. Miley is yet to reveal the inspiration for the track.
