Sketchy Bongo teams up with former Idols SA contestant, Lindo
Legendary producer Sketchy Bongo is known for making super hits with former Idols SA contestants such as Shekhinah and Kyle Deutsch. Now he's teamed up with Lindo from Idols 2017.
With hits like “Back to the Beach”, “All Night” and “Let U Know” to name a few, “Let’s Go” is no different. This time Sketchy Bongo teamed up with Idols 2017 top 6 contestants, Lindo for what is said to be the song of the summer.
Sketchy Bongo and Lindo first met in studio, where the two just had a great musical chemistry and in less than a day.
Lindo was born on the 1st of August 1995 in the North Coast of KZN in Mandeni. His love for music goes way back when he was just a little boy growing up. He is a naturally talented singer, entertainer that learnt to craft is talent by performing at school shows, church and at family events. It was his friends and family that pushed him into entering South African Idols in 2017. He was a fan favorite and loved by all. He also shared the stage with Thandiso Mazwai, Black Coffee and international Rap Artist Common at the DSTV Delicious Festival 2017.
Yuvir Pillay, better known by his stage name Sketchy Bongo, is a South African record producer from Durban. He has worked with artists such as AKA, Da Les, Shekinah and Aewon Wolf. His signature is the ski mask that he is constantly seen wearing.
Bongo is also the only South African producer to have his own feature on MTV Base. Together with Shekinah, the two created the hit "Let You Know" and Sketchy, Shekinah and Kyle Deutsch made the super hit “Back To The Beach”.
“Let’s Go” was created from scratch. It is a single that will be found on Lindo’s upcoming EP and has a single release on all digital platforms from the 14th of December 2018.
