Forget about One Direction making a comeback, there's a new boyband in town and they are making history.

South Korean boyband, BTS (Bangtan Boys),  just earned their first ever number one album in America.

'Love Yourself: Tear' debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart a few days ago - making BTS the first K-Pop group to do so.

BTS is fast becoming the next big thing in music. They've been building steady momentum outside of Korea over the past few years.

BTS was the most-tweeted artist on Twitter in 2017, as well as the most-tweeted celebrity - getting twice as many mentions as Justin Bieber and President Donald Trump.

The seven-piece group won the 'Top Social Artist' award at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards for the second year in a row.

BTS recently visited the Ellen show - much to the excitement of the young audience. Ellen managed to literally scare the boys out of their seats with a "fangirl" prank.
