It was indeed a night filled with magic for Alicia Keys, who hosted the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Shortly after, Keys posted on Instagram a teaser clip for her new single, 'Raise A Man', which is a soulful, smooth track with deep meanings.

"Tonight was such a musical night I decided to drop a new vibe & have some fun with y’all!!!" she said in an Instagram post

Billboard reports that it is the singer's first single in three years, and is one that speaks about "about the difficulties of relationships. From the highs and lows, the artist sings about a dependent partner and the struggle for acceptance."

The lyrics from the track are powerful and will hit you right in the feels. Some of them include:

I've never been treated the way I didn't want to be treated

It's hard to explain, I know it's hard to believe

I want what's coming at me

Perfection, protection (please, love)
