Michael Jackson's music continues to enjoy chart success. The 'King of Pop' died in June 2009 but his songs and albums are keeping his legacy alive.

One of his greatest albums of all time, 'Thriller', is back on the charts in America. The album, which was released in November 1982, is currently at #63 on the Billboard 200 chart.

'Thriller', which produced hits such as 'Beat It', 'Wanna Be Startin' Something', 'Billie Jean' and 'The Girl is Mine', enjoys major airplay before and after Halloween.

The album's latest re-entry into the chart has earned MJ a place in the music history books.

It has now spent 600 weeks on the chart since its release more than 40 years ago. According to Forbes, it is only the 10th album in the chart's history to achieve the feat.

About Thriller by Michael Jackson

'Thriller' also enjoyed chart success in 2022.  The iconic album turned 40 last year and re-entered the chart just in time for its November anniversary.

Not only did it enter the chart again but it also made it all the way to the top 10! A 40th-anniversary reissue of the album also gave it a boost on the charts.

'Thriller', which was produced by music legend Quincy Jones, won eight awards the 26th GRAMMY Awards in 1984.

It remains one of the best-selling albums of all time.  The album's self-titled single 'Thriller' also went on to be a huge success.

The song's 14-minute musical horror film is the first music video to be inducted into the National Film Registry.
