Michael Jackson’s iconic album, ‘Thriller’ – which officially turns 40 on Wednesday (November 30), has returned to the US charts. The ‘King of Pop’ passed away in 2009 but his music lives on.

‘Thriller’ is currently at No.7 on the Billboard 200’s album chart ahead of ‘Harry’s House’ (Harry Styles), ‘Jupiter's Diary: 7 Day Theory’ (Rod Wave), and ‘Christmas’ (Michael Bublé).

According to Billboard, the 40th anniversary reissue gave the album a major boost in 2022.

‘Thriller’ sold over 70-million copies during its original 1982 release and remains the best-selling album of all time.

The album broke scores of records at the time and spent a whopping 37 non-consecutive weeks at No.1 between 1983 and 1984.
