Eminem is reigning supreme on Billboard 200. The rapper's latest album has ended Taylor Swift's 12-week run.
Congratulations to Eminem whose latest album has just secured the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
The album, 'The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)', ended Taylor Swift's 12-week 'The Tortured Poets Department' reign.
''The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)' also debuts at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums, album sales comprise 114,000 (all from digital downloads; it wasn’t available as a physical album) and TEA units comprise 2,500. The set launches with 281,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending July 18, according to Luminate. It scores the largest week for any rap album in 2024,' reports Billboard.
Eminem released the album on 12 July.
Forbes reported that Eminem's recent achievement has given him eleven no.1 hits on the UK album charts.
'With 11 No. 1s to his credit on the U.K. albums chart, Eminem is now tied with four other well-known musical acts on the list of artists with the most winners. He’s on the same level as U2, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, and Taylor Swift,' reports Forbes.

Taylor Swift's historical chart reign
Swift celebrated her album spending 12 weeks on the charts. She told her fans on social media that this has never happened with any of her albums.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old thanked Swifties for their support.
“I also wanted to say to everyone who’s supported The Tortured Poets Department, I am completely blown away by what you’ve done,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
“It stayed at #1 for the first 12 weeks of its release and that’s never happened to an album of mine before, not even close!! You’re just the greatest,” she said.
The album came out on April 19.
It is Swift's 11th studio album and has 31 songs.
According to Billboard, 'The Tortured Poets Department' has become the only album by a woman to spend its first 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200.
Last week, it was announced that the album is the best-selling album of 2024.
According to a Rolling Stone report, the album outsold the rest of 2024’s top 10 albums combined.
'TTPD' currently holds a 500-million stream lead, according to Luminate's 2024 midyear data report.
The album has sold 2.474-million copies through the first half of 2024.
