BTS dropped their new song, 'Take Two', on Friday, June 9. The single was released as part of their anniversary celebrations.

"'Take Two' suggests BTS’ moving onto their second chapter after the first chapter of a decade-long journey as artists. The single is an ode to their fans, ARMY, showing the septet’s gratitude to their fans. SUGA participated in the overall production of the track with RM and j-hope participating in the songwriting." the South Korean boyband's label said in a statement.

BTS is made up of seven members -  Suga, RM, V, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, and J-Hope.

The K-pop band was formed in 2010 but made its official debut in 2013.

BTS FESTA

BTS will also celebrate their anniversary at a special event next week. The 10th Anniversary FESTA is taking place in Yeouido, Seoul, on June 17.

The BTS FESTA is held annually, but this year's event will be extra special with several surprises planned in the coming days. It's unclear which members will be in attendance.

BTS announced that will be going on a hiatus in June 2022. The band planned to pursue solo careers as well as serve out their mandatory military service.

Jin started his military duties in December 2022. He is expected to serve at least 18 months, which is the minimum requirement for all able-bodied South Korean men aged 18 to 28.

J-Hope became the second BTS member to enlist in April 2023. They are all expected to complete their military service by 2025, which means it will be a while before their fans see them onstage as a septet.

'Take Two' is the second single released by the group in 2023. 'The Planet' was released in May.
