Mariah Carey's winning streak continued in Christmas 2023. The 54-year-old made history once again in December.

Her 1994 classic, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You', broke the Spotify record for most streams in a single day.

According to Spotify, the track was streamed 23,780,343 times on Christmas Eve. The 'Queen of Christmas' broke the record she set last year by more than two million streams.

She holds Spotify's record for most-streamed songs in a single day.

The increase in streams during the festive season resulted in Mariah dominating the charts.

'All I Want for Christmas' is currently the number-one song in America after claiming the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week in a row.

Christmas songs dominated the charts in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The latest chart features nine festive tunes in the top 10.

Jack Harlow's 'Lovin on Me' is the only non-holiday track in the top 10.

'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is now one of three Mariah songs to spend 14 weeks at number one.

According to Billboard, she is the first artist to achieve the feat.

"Wow!! Woke up this morning to the incredible news of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' breaking the Spotify record and being on the Billboard Hot 100 & the Global 200 charts! And to top it all off - it’s snowy outside!!!" the five-time Grammy Award-winner wrote on Boxing Day.

The singer thanked her fans for their constant support.

"I can’t thank you enough for making this Christmas (and honestly, this entire season!) so celebratory for me. Even though it is December 26, Christmas never ends for me (ha ha!) and I will keep sharing some of our festive moments from the past week with you!

'All I Want For Christmas Is You' was also Inducted into the National Recording Registry this month.

The Library of Congress inducts recordings that are "culturally, historically or aesthetically important" into the registry.

Mariah and her children, Moroccan and Monroe - whom she shared with Nick Cannon, were guests at the White House in December.

The family got to meet President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
