Aerosmith Farewell Tour

Earlier this year, Aerosmith announced that they will be embarking on a farewell tour called, 'Peace Out'. The tour will feature rock band, The Black Crowes.

The promotional video announcing the tour featured stars such as Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Sir Ringo Starr, Eminem, and more.

"PEACE OUT! After 50 years, 10 world tours, and playing for over 100 million fans... It's time for one last go!" a message on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members' official Instagram page read.

The band said, "It’s not goodbye, it’s peace out!".

Guitarist Joe Perry told the Associate Press in an interview that it has been a long time since they went on a proper tour, and they are anxious to get back on the road.

"It's kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we've been out here. You never know how much longer everybody's going to be healthy to do this," the 72-year-old said.

The band's North American 'Peace Out' tour starts in September. The 40-date tour includes a stop in their hometown Boston on December 31. They will ring in the New Year where it all began for them.
