According to New York Post, a kayaker named Brian Correiar was making his way across the ocean when his kayak hit a great white shark. He told the New York Post that he heard a very loud sound and felt something disturbing.

The shark was just inches away from him and managed to sink its teeth into his kayak. Luckily for Brian, he noticed a small sailboat making its way closer to him so he managed to signal for assistance. This is one lucky guy.

I wonder if this gentleman has ventured out to sea again? I sure hope he's taken a lengthy break!
Rest assured this holiday season, I will not be dipping my toes in the ocean.
