Endangered African penguin found on beach after surviving shark attack

An endangered penguin was found on Durban's Tinley Manor beach after surviving a shark bite and malaria. Listen as Bongani and Mags catch up with the vet who is taking care of the penguin.

According to the North Coast Courier, Haviana who is a juvenile African penguin got lost and made its way to Tinley Manor Beach on Durban's North Coast. This adorable creature was fighting for its life on the shores of the beach after surviving a shark bite and malaria.

 The penguin was spotted by Barbara McCabe while she was enjoying her afternoon walk on the beach.
