It's almost time for parents and guardians all over South Africa to get back into their regular weekday morning routine - driving their children to school.

Nothing makes the chaos of the morning school drop-off better than listening to some great music.

Parents and their kids usually have different tastes in music, which means a lot of fighting over what songs to play in the car.

In-between listening to their favourite radio station, moms and dads have to throw in some 'Baby Shark' and other popular children's songs.

Pinkfong's version of the 'Baby Shark' song and CoComelon's 'Bath Song' are two of the songs kids enjoy the most. But they have become quite annoying for parents over the years.

'Baby Shark' is the most-watched video on YouTube ever with more than 13-billion views. In second place is Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito', which is trailing behind by eight-billion views.

'Johnny, Johnny Yes Papa' by LooLoo Kids is in third place with 6.8-billion views followed by the 'Bath Song' with 6.5-billion views.

Half the songs on the top 10 most-watched list are children's songs.

If you're sick of hearing the same old children's songs over and over again,  here are three cool ones the entire family can listen to.

'Baby Shark (R&B remix)' by Desmond Dennis

This version of 'Baby Shark' will have you bopping your head and humming along with your kids.

Desmond Dennis released an R&B remix of the song in 2018. It was well-received by both kids and parents.

Desmond's remix is still popular with kids in 2024.

American model Apryl Jones shared a video this week of her children dancing to the song.

Megaa and A'mei, whom 'The Comeback' actress shares with musician Omarion, showed off their cool dance moves.

'Bless Me' / 'Miss Westie' by North West

North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, debuted her rap talents in December. The 10-year-old performed a rap during Kanye's listening party for his new album with Ty Dolla $ign, 'Vultures'.

According to reports, North features on the album's song 'Bless Me'. However, some people have dubbed the track, 'Miss Westie'.

"It's your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie/ Don't tryna test me / It's gonna get messy / It's gonna get messy /Just, just bless me, bless me," North raps on the track.
