Forget the chocolate and roses... put a smile on your lover's face with these sentimental gifts that will have a more meaningful impact.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Love is expressed by the things we do for others.
One of the best ways to show someone just how much you love them is to get them a gift, something sentimental that they will cherish.
A proposal
Ready to settle down and take your relationship to the next level? Today might be the best day to gift your lover with a proposal for marriage and show that you want to spend the rest of your life together.
Settle an account
The past years have been hectic for many people, especially financially, and many had to take on debt. Spoil your lover this Valentine's Day with a settlement letter from one of their accounts/debts.
Not only will this save them money, but also interest - and you will be seen as a hero/heroine!

Invest in their future
If your partner is a study fanatic, then you can find a good course online and pay for them to study further. This doesn't even have to be long-term, there are many great short-courses offered by reputable institutions.
Alternatively, you can invest by signing them up for a skills course, for instance - short make-up/cooking/sewing courses.
Buy land for your partner
This idea comes from Jacob Zuma's ex-fiancé, Nonkanyiso Conco, aka LaConco.
The reality star took to Twitter to share that the best Valentine's Day gift she can get is land or property and we agree that!
