Updated | By ECR Newswatch
As night falls, a distraught Durban mother is praying for the return of her one-month-old baby girl - who was abducted during a hijacking in the CDB this morning.
Sibongile Mbambo spoke to Newswatch today - following the harrowing ordeal.
She and her two children - infant Siwaphiwe, and an eight-year-old son - were in their vehicle near the Game City mall in the city centre, when they were accosted by two armed men.

Mother and son were forced out of the vehicle, while the hijackers sped off with little Siwaphiwe still inside.
The vehicle - a white Toyota Yaris - was later found abandoned in Montclair, south of Durban. However, the baby was nowhere to be found.
Police and community members have rallied together to search for the infant.
