The car was found some time ago in Monclair on Moodie Crescent - but the child was gone.
In statement released by the police a few minutes ago - the mother and her other 8-year-old child were forced out their white Toyota Yarisby two armed men - before they sped off with the infant.
The baby's mother - Sibongile Mbambo, has spoken to Newswatch.
