If you love gardening, you must visit the 2025 Winter Garden Fair. Now in its third edition, the event will take place on 24 and 25 May 2025 at the Vuleka Trust Conference Centre, Botha's Hill, Hillcrest.

"Set in a peaceful farm-style venue, the Garden Fair is designed for every kind of gardener – from those with limited patio space or urban balconies to those with rambling country gardens or smallholdings," reports IOL.

The fair will run over two days, and garden enthusiasts can expect to enjoy vibrant garden items, visit unique vendors, and delight in delicious food in an enchanted setting.

The Winter Garden Fair is the perfect family-friendly spot to visit this weekend. Besides the great gardening advice you'll get from fellow gardening lovers, you will also support local businesses and community initiatives.

This year, visitors will see a broader range of "exhibitors, including growers, nurseries, garden retailers, landscapers, and manufacturers showcasing plants, garden décor, eco-friendly products, and innovative gardening solutions."

The event will also intensely promote 'water-wise gardening'. In particular, how to be practical and sustainable in your gardening methods that suit our South African climate.

This is also a great way to welcome winter, with a fresh bloom.
