Fun things to do with the family this Easter weekend

Having a list of things to do in and around KZN is always a smart choice.

We've put together some fun things to do with the whole family this Easter holiday and the great part is that you can do some of these things outside of the holiday too.

Now, if we're honest, we know that kids rule the weekends and where you go is determined a lot by them.

So, here are some things to do this weekend that are kid-friendly.

The Easter India Shopping Festival

You can bring your whole family to the Easter India Shopping Festival at the Old Durban Drive-In located on Sylvester Ntuli Road.

The festival not only has great shopping opportunities, but the Chetty's Fun Fair is also on the grounds.

Sun-Thursday: 11am to 9pm

Friday and Saturday: 11am to 10pm

Fridays, Saturdays, Sunday, and Public Holidays: R20 entry fee

Weekdays (Monday to Thursday): Free entry

Inchanga Station Craft Market

There will be an Easter Market happening at the Inchanga Station during Easter Weekend, in particular the 30th and 31st of March.

The Easter Bunny will be onboard the Vintage Steam Train and tickets for the train ride can be purchased online: www.umgenisteamrailway.com.

They have asked that people carry cash as not all stall holders at the market have card facilities.

Messy Kids 2 Days Holiday Fun & Easter Hunt

On the 27th (today) and 28th (tomorrow) of March, there will be an Easter Hunt, pizza making, Easter cookie decorating, and more at Glenwood Prep Cafe.

The cost is R80 per child and for more information and reservations (which are essential), you can contact Francis at 072 114 3531.
