Johnny Clegg is one of the prominent musicians who put Africa on the map. He demonstrated the true meaning of Ubuntu and showed the beauty of our South African culture. 

Johnny played a big role in uniting South Africans as one people, playing a role in the fight against apartheid.

Dubbed the 'Princess of Africa', Yvonne Chaka Chaka has released countless songs that speak of our pride as a nation that has many different races and cultures. 

One such song is 'Umqombothi'. 

Yvonne released her first album, 'I’m In Love With The DJ', in 1986 and in 1987, she released 'I’m Burning Up'. These songs also played a role in uniting the African people.
