North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has appeared with his young daughter in public for the first time, confirming long-rumoured reports of her existence. The girl, believed to be named Kim Chu-ae, joined him at an inspection of a major intercontinental ballistic missile launch on Friday.

A 99-year-old woman named Priscilla Sitienei, believed to be the world's oldest primary school pupil, has died peacefully at home in Kenya.

The man who was wrongfully arrested and detained for 13 days in connection with the murder of former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain, Senzo Mewiya, has been given a green light to sue the state for R21-million.

South African Golden Globe Race (GGR) competitor Kirsten Neuschäfer, the only female entrant, pulled off a successful rescue operation on Saturday after Finnish sailing legend Tapio Lehtinen's boat sank in the southern Indian Ocean.

Former President Donald Trump has said he sees no reason to rejoin Twitter as Elon Musk reinstates his account. The billionaire owner of Twitter restored Trump's account on Saturday night after he polled his followers with a simple yes or no response to the statement "reinstate Trump."
