The Department of Correctional Services confirmed that Chris Hani's killer Janusz Waluś, was stabbed in prison just before 5pm on Tuesday. He was rushed to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.

A non-profit organisation that advocates for those with diabetes has distanced itself from comments made by a Benoni woman who blamed her outburst against black people on her low sugar levels.

The entire board of directors of Juventus, including the club’s President Andrea Agnelli and CEO Maurizio Arrivabene, has resigned over charges of false accounting. This is the same team that was caught in the biggest match-fixing scandal in the history of football.

Three more beaches and at least 21 swimming pools across the eThekwini municipality have been re-opened. The DA in eThekwini has challenged mayor Mxolisi Kaunda to take a dip in the water at the Umhlanga main beach.

According to Stats SA's Quarterly Labour Force, unemployment dropped from 33,9% in the second quarter of 2022 to 32,9% in the third quarter of 2022. That means that 204,000 jobs were gained between the second quarter of 2022 and the third quarter of 2022.
