The Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market have announced that they will reopen next Saturday, two months after the devastating floods on April 12 washed away a section of road leading to the market.

LeBron James is now a billionaire, marking the first time an active NBA player has achieved that milestone. Forbes said that the Los Angeles Lakers star has "maximised his business," generating more than $1.2-billion in pretax earnings.

Mariah Carey has been sued in the United States for alleged copyright infringement over her 1994 song, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'. The plaintiff, a musician named Andy Stone, says he co-wrote and recorded a festive song of the same name in 1989 and never gave permission for it to be used.

The Afrikaanse Taalraad (Afrikaans Language Board) has slammed Ryanair’s policy to ask some travellers with South African passports to complete an Afrikaans quiz before they can board their flight. Apparently there has been an influx of people with fake South African passports, and this is the best solution they came up with to test 'South Africanness'.
