Fans want answers as YouTube remove 'Jerusalema' music video
South Africans on social media are up in arms after Master KG's music video for the international hit song, 'Jerusalema', disappeared from YouTube.
Jerusalema by Limpopo-born DJ and producer, Master KG, and KwaZulu-Natal-born songstress, Nomcebo Zikode, has been making waves and the world dance during this global pandemic, garnering over 65-million views on YouTube.
While Master KG and the rest of South Africa were on a mission to reach 100-million views, Twitter was upset on Wednesday night to learn that the official music video is no longer on YouTube.
Although Master KG tried to calm the storm by explaining in a tweet that the video will be back up as soon, as some technical issues have been resolved, fans needed to know more.

To put it simply, Master KG's new deal with Warner Music Group’s (WMG) Elektra France sees WMG hold the rights for the album worldwide. As a result, the video now belongs to the company and has been locked or muted for copyright reasons. It should or will be uploaded by the owner under the new company name to gain revenue through it.
