SA records 1160 new COVID-19 cases

South Africa has recorded 1160 new coronavirus infections in a single day bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15 515.
The death toll's gone up by three to 264 - 56% of them were men.
On a positive note, we've seen 7 006 recoveries nationally.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize released the latest statistics last night saying that the Western Cape remains the worst affected province.
Another 890 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 pushing the number of infections to 9 294.

KwaZulu Natal has seen an increase of 45 cases - with the total now at 1 543.
45 people have died in the province - there've been 817 recoveries.
Mkhize says more than 460 000 tests have been done to date.
