Ramaphosa to hold urgent cabinet meeting as COVID-19 infections rise

President Cyril Ramaphosa will hold an urgent cabinet meeting today- to discuss intensified measures to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
Positive cases continue to rise in the country with the Health Department confirming 14 new COVID-19 infections yesterday-taking the total to 38.
One more case was confirmed in KwaZulu-Natal, a 47-year-old man who travelled to Switzerland. This brings the total number of cases in the province to 11.

Gauteng has seven new cases. Two women and five men that travelled to the UK, US, Germany, Netherlands, France, and Italy tested positive.
In the Western Cape, two women and four men aged between 14 and 73 have tested positive. They all travelled to Brazil, France, Italy, the US, Dubai, and the UK.
