Mthethwa approves new regulations for arts and cultural spaces
Updated | By Jacaranda fm
Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa has gazetted the reopening of arts and cultural spaces under Level 3 of the lockdown.

This gives the green light for the reopening of cinemas, theatres, museums, libraries, galleries and archives.
Cinemas, theatres and arts and cultural spaces will now be allowed to operate as long as they comply with the necessary health and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Cinemas, theatres and arts and cultural spaces overall may operate, provided that only 50 people or less are allowed, in compliance with health safety protocols," says the minister's Masechaba Khumalo.
