"This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death," Chester Bennington's wife captioned a video of him laughing before he died.

The video shows the Linkin Park frontman playing a game with his children less than two days before he committed suicide.

Chester and his son can be seen picking up jelly beans from a table, without knowing if they will taste like normal candy or some bizarre flavour like canned dog food.

Chester's jelly bean ended up tasting like rotten egg!

Talinda used the hashtags, "F**k depression" and "make Chester proud" in her post.

Before tweeting the video, she told her followers: "My next tweet is the most personal tweet I have ever done. I'm showing this so that you know that depression doesn't have a face or a mood."

Talinda has been using her Twitter page to educate people about depression following Chester's shock suicide in July.

Earlier this month, she shared a picture of Chester smiling with his children

"This was days b4 my husband took his own life.Suicidal thoughts were there, but you'd. Never know," she tweeted.

Talinda has also been encouraging people to share their stories to create awareness that will hopefully help others dealing with something similar.

The couple's 15-year-old son Draven Bennington shared three videos about depression during National Suicide Prevention Week last week.

"He was really good at hiding it. I saw him a week before and I would not be able to tell one thing that was different... I thought everything was going great," he said in a video.
