We chatted to proud dad, Mark Heylen, to find out more.
What is your baby’s name and age?
Our little guy is Slayde Eleven Heylen and he will be seven months old on 11 September 2013.
Tell us a little about this cute photo and what led to you capturing the moment.
My wife Tanya and his sister Raine were lavishing him with kisses and tickling his tummy and she decided to capture his reaction on camera.
Any amazing moments that you’ve experienced with your child that you’d like to share?
Slayde came as quite a surprise as we only found out we were expecting him when my wife was 20 weeks pregnant. He is exactly 11 months younger than his sister, Raine India, 11 years younger than his oldest sister, Taya Jayden and was born on 11 February 2013 at exactly 11pm. Strangely my wife and myself were married on 11/11/11 and thus his second name. He is the sweetest little guy with the biggest heart who has captured all of ours. Just witnessing the close bond he and Raine share is indescribably beautiful and waking up to his larger than life smile and happy-go-lucky attitude always starts our days on a perfect note. He is an absolute joy!
What do you plan to do with the R2000 cash?
We were planning on starting an investment account for him, so the timing is absolutely perfect. Thank you Elizabeth Anne's, Purity and East Coast Radio!
