Joggers

Hallelujah, praise the Lord. Finally a pair of pants that are bang on trend and comfortable to wear.

The jogger, ladies, is your new best friend. Wear with flats for a casual, bohemian look and dress up with heels for work.

You’ll find the jogger in a variety of prints and fabrics and the great news is, they’re sure to stick around for the most part of the year.

During summer and spring find light, silky options and during the cooler months you’ll be looking for a more heavyweight fabric like suede.

Wide Brimmed Hats

The fedora has been updated with the wide brimmed fedora. She loves to be worn with maxi dresses, joggers, kimonos, T-shirt dresses and pretty much whatever else you have in your closet. She’s the fastest way to make an old outfit sooooo 2015. Like the jogger, you can keep her till winter. She works best in neutral colours like brown, black, cream or navy. If you’re feeling ultra feisty, red works too.

The Fro

Solange single-handedly brought back the Afro, although in my mind, it never really went anywhere. The Afro is super chic for 2015. It screams independence and looks fierce with the simplest of outfit choices. If you’re lucky enough to rock an Afro it will be your biggest accessory of 2015.

Kimonos

The bohemian must-have has morphed into everyday work wear this year. The kimono can be thrown over just about anything and will serve you well. The best advice is to stock up on a few varieties as once you get into the swing of a kimono, you’ll never look back. The kimono shifts once again into a poncho during winter; you’ll love the freedom and instant glam these little gems will give you.

Off the Shoulder

Make one of your New Year's resolutions to ‘show a bit of skin’. The off-the-shoulder trend is the elegant, grown up more sophisticated sister of the crop top. She must be ALWAYS be worn with a strapless bra and loves to be dressed up or down. Go on, take the plunge.

The LOB

Last but not least. Everyone is talking about the LOB (the long bob). Whether you choose to wear it straight, with a wave or with a fringe it sure is the hottest hair trend right now. The great thing about the LOB is that you don’t feel as if you’ve chopped ALL your hair off. It’s kind of like a ‘good trim’ as most hairdressers would say. It’s definitely on my to-do list.
