Earlier this week, Gabriel told you about a man in the UK who wasn't hired for the job because he's not, well, an oil painting. While we're not all male models, we can put in some effort that may make the crucial difference.
1. Don’t wear white socks! Even Michael Jackson would not be impressed and sure as hell you'll "moonwalk" out of the interview empty handed.
4. Don’t wear clothes that don't fit properly. Too big, or too small. You’ll be uncomfortable throughout the interview. Your confidence will take a knock.
3. If it has no spiritual or religious alignment, shave your facial hair! No chops, moustache, goaties or any animal name that your facial hair style goes by! It was cool in the 70s, not in 2013.
2. No colourblocking! Even if you are applying for a job at a paint manufacturing factory...and they have more colours than you do. DON'T! You don’t wanna look like a rainbow!
1. No perms! Even the King of Perms Billy Ocean himself has dreadlocks now. If you must, put some sort of hair lotion in, but no glycerine please! You not a "skhothane" (trend setter) from the 80s.
