The 2014 Dusi is here. The ultimate canoe race challenge started on Thursday and wraps up on Saturday. It's the 63rd edition and is set to be one of the best yet! Sports stars go head to head to claim the coveted Player Family trophy. To find out more click here
 
FRIDAY 14 FEBRUARY
 
Gangs of Ballet and the KZN Orchestra @ Botanic Gardens
Gangs of Ballet, backed by a 50 piece orchestra, will be performing at Botanic Gardens this Valentine’s Day. If that doesn’t check your romantic date box then you proably don’t deserve a date! Remember all proceeds from the Old Mutual Lake Series performances go towards an innovative people and plant development programme. So pack your picnic baskets and book your tickets here
 
 
The Hinds Brothers Band and Mickey Burns @ Upstairs
If you are tired of the usual Valentine's Day missions, why not try something different? Bring your other half and come get serenaded by two of Durban's finest bands. The Hinds Brothers Band and Mickey Burns will be sure to woo your squeeze for you. There will be complimentary cocktails for the first 30 people but unfortunately there are no table bookings or food at the Upstairs. You can pre-book tickets to make sure you get in. Durban’s ultra cool kids will be at the Jameson Pub on Saturday evening for a special live music treat. Matt Vend from the Accidentals will be playing and there will be some open mic action. By the sounds of it, this is the event Durban music buffs have been waiting for. Plus, it’s free entry!
