One of SA's most loved comedians, Trevor moved to California in 2011 and had his U.S. television debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in January 2012.
He still calls South Africa home though, tweeting on Saturday: "I will never leave South Africa. I might stay in other places but my house & home will always be Mzansi. #MySA".
After his Friday night performance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Trevor tweeted: "To the amazing audience that carried me through tonight's show, I cannot thank you enough. You were power."
