Bonela hijacking + hijack victim conman details

Sabashnee says her neighbour in Bonela was hijacked on Thursday morning in his white VW, registration NPN 14942. It was stolen at gunpoint by four men in a white Toyota Corolla (latest model). Apparently this Corolla has been seen in the Bonela area before, allegedly in a previous hijacking incident.

Close shave for New Germany woman

In Glockner Street, New Germany on Thursday just after midday Greg's wife was busy in the kitchen when she heard a noise at the gate, which was being opened with a crowbar. She set off the panic button and the man quickly got into the passenger seat of a waiting vehicle and they drove off. The vehicle was a big dark red Kia or a Renault with very dark tinted windows Reg No ND 84553. Please be on the look-out for this car.

Hijacking sob-story conman

Mason fell for the 'just-been-hijacked' story of a very convincing con-artist. This was on the Durban beachfront about two weeks back. A man in a white Peugeot looked shaken up and said he'd just escaped a hijacking. His car has a smash on the left hand side and the supposed victim also had bruises on his arm. He said he desperately needed some money for the toll fee so he could get back home. Mason fell for the story and helped him with some cash. Then on Saturday, Mason was walking to his car at Westwood mall and the same man pulls over and starts his story. Mason cut him off before he could continue, but says  unfortunately he didn't think of taking a picture of him or his vehicle.
