Amashova Road Closures

Motorists planning on travelling in and around Durban on Sunday are being asked to avoid several roads as the Amashova Durban Classic is taking place.
One of KwaZulu-Natal's premier road cycling races, the Amashova Durban Classic, is set to take place this Sunday.
The Amashova Durban Cycle Classic is set to take place on Sunday, October 23.
If you have been taking part in the race since it started, you are racing for the 35th year in 2022.

For all Durban motorists, make sure to take note of these roads and the times they will be affected:
38km start: M13 under the Kassier Road bridge and runs along the M13 contra flow into Durban via N3 also contra flow.
80km start: Outside Moses Mabhida Stadium, which will be closed from 04:00 until 13:00.
Chief Albert Luthuli Street to Alexandra Road: 04h00 – 09h00
Alexandra Road to Umlaas Road: 04h00 – 10h30
Umlaas Road to R103 Inchanga / 1000 Hills: 04h00 – 12h00
R103 Inchanga to Bothas Hill Butchery: 04h00 – 13h00
R103 Patna Road to Kassier Road / M13 on ramp: 04h00 – 14h00
M13 Hillcrest to M13 Westville (Westbound): 04h00 – 14h30
M13 Westville to M13 45th Cutting (Westbound): 04h00 – 14h30
N3 outbound to Monty Naicker Street: 04h00 – 15h00
Monty Naicker Street (Pine Street): 04h00 – 15h00
Masabalala Yengwa Ave (Southbound): 04h00 – 16h00
