A campaign was recently launched by East Coast Radio following the botched hijacking in which little nine-year-old Sadia Sukhraj was tragically killed.

To show awareness and stand up for the victims of gun violence, we asked the people of KZN to wear orange and stand with us to #StandUpForSadia.
On Friday morning, Damon and a few staff members from East Coast Radio headed to the Umhlanga Rocks traffic circle to see if they could get motorists to honk their horns in solidarity, and he was taken by surprise when he saw the number of people standing together with us.
