Woman buys her co-worker a cake and gets snubbed for birthday lunch

Being friends with your co-workers isn't for everyone, and that's everyone's choice at the end of the day.
But when you choose to create a relationship with a co-worker and they do not reciprocate, it can hurt.
For this woman who took the time to get a birthday cake for her co-worker, it was an act that ended in tears.

We feel sad for her, considering she took the time to buy a cake for someone she wanted to make feel special.
But sometimes you just have to pick yourself up and learn from it.
It doesn't mean because this woman wanted to do something nice and it wasn't received well, that she should stop doing nice things for people.

And this is something that many TikTokers decided that she needed reminding of.
Her video garnered 1.3-million views and over 3,900 comments. Most of which were positive and in support of her kind gesture for her co-worker.
