Getting a tattoo is something of a rite of passage for some people.

A sentimental act that helps them mark a milestone moment in their lives. But not all people do it for that reason.

Some just do it because they want to follow a trend or tick off a bucket list item. And as much as that is good for you to do, doing it at a reputable place is of the utmost importance.

This woman went to what looks like an inexperienced tattoo artist and paid for it dearly with an infection.

After Itumeleng posted a short snippet of her tattooed leg on TikTok, people began telling her that is not how it is supposed to look.
