Bad language boosts performance at work, in sport, and even in bed.

That’s according to research.

Studies show swearing helps us endure pain for around 50% longer.

A recent study published in the Journal of Psychology of Sports and Exercise found that swearing can increase physical performance and power associated with exercise.

That means stamina is boosted during sport and work - and stress can be coped with better.

The study also claims 90% of us swear at least 14 times a day.

"As normal as swearing is in our life, it still makes me so nervous. One of my biggest fears is swearing when I’m live on air. Often I will swear in my head and have to think back on whether it was on the mic or not. So for me, swearing is an absolute no-go area," Vic says.

Do you think swearing in the workplace is fine or is it an absolute no-no?
