There are some amazing courses out there that allow students to follow their passion.

But those courses are traditionally structured in a way that helps students get a job in a specified field of interest.

Very rarely do they focus on topics of popular culture like Taylor Swift's music, for instance.

But that's all about to change or is in the midst of change thanks to Stanford University's "Italic 99 courses, which offer students an introduction to topics taught by alumni of the program.” (Instagram)

The new course that is lined up will definitely interest Taylor Swift fans.

The new class is set to explore Taylor Swift's 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version)'.

"If Taylor Swift can hold 20-somethings’ attention for 10 minutes, why not 10 weeks? That seems to be the thinking behind Stanford University’s new “All Too Well (Ten Week Version),” which promises “an in-depth analysis of Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well.’” (MSN)

Sound like something you would be down for?

New York University offered their students a bespoke Taylor Swift class last year, which was taught by Rolling Stone's Brittany Spanos. She said: “I want them to have fun listening to music and engage with pop music beyond the idea of pop as guilty pleasure.” (MSN)
