It seems almost impossible, but Chilean volunteers, who are a part of a Mexican rescue non-profit named 'Los Topos', along with Lebanese civil defence volunteers, have been searching for a possible survivor.

They have resumed their precarious search for the survivor of the blast after a sign of life was detected underneath.

Journalists and residents of the area were told to remain silent and switch off their phones during the use of the scanning equipment.

The two rescue teams have been removing rubble with their hands in fear that using any other mechanical equipment would cause the building in question to further collapse.

The sign of life was detected on Friday, although it was noted that is was appearing weaker than the day before, with a sniffer dog named Flash being the first to respond to a scent on the site.

The teams are working slowly and diligently, and are about 80 centimeters from the targeted area.

Hopefully, the rescue will turn out successful, and the person can finally begin on the road to recovery.
