Should wedding gifts be helpful or just a nice treat?

Recently, one Twitter user caused quite a stir with their opinion on a gift they received.

The person had attended a wedding and had some very negative feelings about the gift.

Vic is also attending a wedding soon, so this made him wonder about the opinions of guests at weddings.

So he asked KZN: Would you prefer receiving a wedding favour that is helpful, like sanitiser during a pandemic?

Or would you rather want a gift that's just a nice treat, like a cute candle?
