Jealousy is not just one of the seven deadly sins, but it is also a toxic trait to possess.

One woman who clearly displayed the aftermath of what it means to be jealous was recently arrested by authorities in Argentina.

"On Saturday, police in the Argentinian city of La Plata rescued a 29-year-old man from a locked room in his girlfriend’s house." (Oddity Central)

His girlfriend of six months had entrapped him in the room as a way of preventing him from cheating on her.

Sounds as absurd as it is.

"After uninstalling WhatsApp from his phone and then smashing it against the floor to prevent him from talking to other women, the unnamed woman reportedly locked the man in a room. She kept him there for three days straight, until he was somehow able to steal her phone and text a friend for help." Hello, then why didn't you leave her? That's a red flag right there...

But we guess sometimes it can be easy to get sucked in. He also mentioned that each time he went out with friends, she would give him a curfew. If he did not follow the time, she would threaten to come out and look for him.

Luckily, he managed to get a hold of her phone, or who knows how this story would've ended...
