Post celebratory hack for storing your bubbly...

What do you do with leftover champagne?
There's no doubt that as we move into the 'back to normal' cycle of life, we are left with leftovers in the fridge that we have to throw out. But we will have none of that when it comes to the leftover bubbly.
But, as you know, when it comes to champagne, if left without a reusable cork or champagne stopper, you lose the bubbles. Which defeats the purpose of drinking it and you are forced to throw it out.
So instead of being ill prepared the next time there is a reason to celebrate with some bubbly, we found this cool hack.
"This trick is so amazing that even after two days one will still find bubbles in your glass. All you have to do is take a metal spoon or fork (most people use a spoon) and place it in the neck of the bottle (handle side into the bottle of course). It’s important to place the bottle in the fridge immediately and leave it to stay chilled." (MSN)
It seems that the cold metal spoon manages to keep the champagne bottle neck cold. This creates an air plug and avoids the bubbles from being released.
This is just another reason to celebrate...
