To the people that bullied me in school... I forgive you?

Is forgiving, forgetting and letting go really possible?
A woman posted a story on Reddit that peaked our interest recently. It was forgiveness at its best. In a world that has so much hatred and grudge, she showed us that sometimes letting go and forgiving is easier than we make it out to be.
She posted that she recently visited a Starbucks and noticed that one of the cashiers kept staring at her. She did not recognise her and so just passed it over as nothing. Then this happened...
I'm walking to my car and that woman is yelling after me. She asked if I'm (not saying my real name) and I said yes.- Reddit User/u/sunkized

It was then that this woman started crying (side note: so awkward). She proceeded to apologise to her over and over. Confused the customer, Reddit poster, took a minute and then it clicked. This was one of the girls that bullied her in school.
One of the girls that shoved her into walls and stole her backpack...The way she reacted showed what person she decided to be. Ultimately, it's a sort of crossroads moment, right? When you decide if you will forgive and move forward, or continue the grudge cycle.
I tried my best to comfort her. I said it's okay, we're in our 30s now and I've been over it. She refunded my coffee and gave me a 25 dollar gift card. People change. I'm glad I let all that stuff go.- Reddit User/u/Sunkized
This is what we wanted to end of the week with. A positive way of looking at life. Let's choose peace and forgiveness as we move into the weekend...
