A job rejection letter that went too far...

The person who typed out this job rejection email was having a bad day!

As much as it might be a fun time for many people who are returning to work, some are left without work.

Unemployment is a worldwide problem that many people are facing.

It can be extremely trying to continue your job hunt and salvage whatever hope and confidence you have left when you don't hear back from companies; even worse when you receive regret or rejection letters.

An IT Company that recently went viral for all the wrong reasons had an employee write out a rejection letter to a candidate.

But the letter wasn't just any ordinary stock standard letter, it read quite personally and was more than a tad bit aggressive.

The candidate applied for the position of Frontend Software Engineer and received a rejection letter that would kill the spirits of the most positive person. The person who posted the letter to Reddit said that the applicant was far better off without this job...

The letter was more than harsh and after the first line informing the candidate of their unsuccessful application, things took a turn for the worst. The reason for the rejection was that the candidate failed to do the online test.

"Any repeated attempts to apply for this position again before this time, or any attempts to retake the test will lead to an automated decline of your application, as well as blacklisting of your profile from any further applications. If you are upset at this email, we have to inform you that life is hard and part of any professional or personal development is dealing with rejection and finding ways to improve." Besides the lack of pleasantries, the person who drafted the email went on further, saying: "Instead of blaming us, you should examine what you can do to improve those abilities and skills. Maybe you could use this self-reflection to improve and make your life better. We certainly wish the best for you."

That last line, "We certainly wish the best for you", didn't sound genuine after the negative-laden sermon that was typed out.

Perhaps this person was having a bad day and had a case of displaced anger? No one should pay for your bad mood, though. Be kind, it doesn't cost you anything.
