We desperately need an answer to an age-old question, and it has KZN divided.

Imagine the following scene:

You're about to go out on a first date, you're excited and you can't wait to see/meet the person.

READ: Have you ever made the conscious decision to destroy your phone?

You get ready, shave, get all dressed up, make sure you look good, and still you're excited.

The date went well and you're even happier! 

You think to yourself: "What a catch!"

Then the bill comes and you do the little dance to see who'll pay but at the end of the day, you're expecting them to pay.

And then they say it, those three words: "Let's split it."

How do you react and, more importantly, is it wrong of you to have been expecting your date to pay?
