We've seen some love stories that have begun on social media, but also some great fails. 

And as much as sharing your dating life is frowned upon by some, it is definitely a great source of entertainment.

Sometimes it's because people resonate with your stories through their own experience, whilst other times they just get invested in the romance of it all.

For this young lady, it all started with an ad to sell her portable heater on Gumtree. 

After finding an interested buyer and setting up the meeting arrangements, she did not bother to make an effort in her appearance thinking that the buyer was some old man. 

But to her surprise, the buyer was tall and handsome.

So, proceeded her meet cute...
