Footballer races to give defibrillator to fan suffering cardiac arrest

The human side of the game...
Watching sport can be an addictive hobby for many people. And as much as we cannot relate to the complete and utter dedication from league watching fans, we can understand the thrill behind following the game.
Not to mention the excitement with the tricks, competitiveness, and signature ball skills from the players.
Of course we can see the appeal...
But you see the amazing part for us is that the love of the game is not one-sided. As a non-fan it may look like the fans have a one-sided love for the game and the players.
However, it isn't that way at all. Perhaps not holistically but to a great extent the players push hard in the game of football because of their love for the game and their dedication to not letting their fans down.
This was shown this week when a goalkeeper for Cádiz ran to get a defibrillator for a fan who was in cardiac arrest.
In a La Liga game between Cádiz and Barcelona in Spain, Cádiz were down by two goals and with just ten minutes left, things were looking bleak.
But not for humankind, in the real world. Because Cádiz goalkeeper Conan Ledesma sprinted toward a fan in the stands who was suffering a cardiac arrest.
"The resuscitation was positive after a few minutes, and the fan was transferred to the ICU of the Hospital Puerta del Mar, where he remains hospitalized." (Instagram)
