Would you keep something like this crystal dress in your wardrobe?

We support people who take pride in their appearance and love expressing their style.

But sometimes, that comes at a cost.

That doesn't necessarily translate into a financial cost but rather a different type of cost. In this case, it was a cost related to comfort.

And as you might know, many people in the fashion industry might say there is no such thing as comfort in fashion. But like most things, it's a 'different strokes for different folks' mentality.

Izzi, an American Fashion and Lifestyle TikToker, shared a video of what she called 'The Heaviest Dress in the World'.

She shared that the reason it is so heavy is because it is not made with fabric. Instead it is made with crystals and shiny balls.

Then she shared another video showing her fitting the crystal dress.

What was surprising to see was the amount of comments surrounding the style of the dress and not many tackling the point surrounding the impractical nature of the dress.

Like, come on now, how is she supposed to sit in this dress?

  • "Wish the arm strap crystals weren’t so bulky"
  • "Ugh this as a full length dress wouldve been insane"
  • "It would’ve been prettier if the bottom was the same crystals as the top"
  • "I wish the straps were either gone or they made multiple strands with the beads and have it be off the shoulder"
  • "It's stunning and ridiculous at the same time"
  • "All I can think of is the chafing. It’s beautiful but my poor armpits and shoulders"
