Bullying is something that has detrimental effects on both kids and adults.

The thing about bullying is that it doesn't just occur with kids, it also happens with adults - and it can be so damaging to one's mental state of mind.

Today is International Stand Up To Bullying Day

"International Stand Up to Bullying Day is a semi-annual event that takes place both in February and November with the aim of raising awareness about bullying and the harmful effects it can have." (Report and Support)

Raising awareness about bullying, regardless of where it is happening or who it is happening to, plays a vital role in our community.

Because most of the time, if you are not aware of it, then you may not know it is happening to you or a loved one.

We came across a video of a mother talking to her daughter about a form of teasing, which can be bullying.

This little girl has all the markings of strength and we wanted to share with you what it means to stand up to bullying.

Not only did she handle it in the best way, she also still held onto her sense of humour and confidence.

And remember to have conversations with your loved ones, both kids and adults about their days, you never know what someone might be going through alone.
